Enex Technologies’ HVAC business unit was formed in 2023 with the acquisition of Emicon, Ethra Tech and Hidros, all based in Italy.
Emicon was founded in 1984 in Emilia Romagna, dedicated to the design of precision air conditioners for IT rooms.
The company later expanded its design and production to include industrial chillers, heat pumps and rooftop units.Emicon established its headquarters in Meldola (Forlì) in 2010.
In 2017 Emicon acquired Hidros, based in Padua and specializing in the design of high efficiency dehumidifiers, heat pumps and water chillers. Today Emicon is one of the most well-regarded Italian HVACR companies, offering a full range of products.
It features a production area of 22,000 sqm in Italy, over 250 employees, 8 foreign sales offices and dozens of agents and distributors operating a national and international network.

Our experienced lab technicians ensure that every unit undergoes strict functional and performance tests in our climatic rooms and testing stations, which can include simulation of real ambient climatic conditions. We offer a test area exclusively dedicated to chillers and heat pumps operating with natural Propane refrigerant (R290).
